- Basic Use
EternaBond® WebSeal® is used to seal roof joints (seams) and tears, flashings, copings, sky- lights, gutters, etc. Perfect for repairing and restoring roofs on mobile homes and RVs. Extremely flexible, with no memory, so WebSeal conforms to virtually any shape without springing back. WebSeal seals to itself so it can be cut and folded around an object. A top coat of roof coating is necessary for UV protection.
- Surface Preparation
Surface must be clean and dry. Moisture, dust, dirt, or other foreign matter should be removed. Remove oil and grease, etc. with EternaClean or a non residue cleaner such as acetone or lacquer thinner. Remove salt and other contaminants.
- Product Limitations
EternaBond® WebSeal® is not compatible with silicone sealants or lubricants. Avoid using silicone based products near WebSeal®.
- Application Information
Surfaces must be clean and dry before applying WebSeal®. Install WebSeal® over the repair area, removing the release liner gradually to prevent contamination of the adhesive prior to application. Rub or roll with pressure using your hand or steel roller to activate bonding pro- cess. A topcoat is required for UV protection.
