H.B. Fuller PHOTOCAP® 15585P

H.B. Fuller PHOTOCAP® 15585P is an ultrafast-curing, PID-resistant EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer) photovoltaic encapsulating film with HLT™ higher light transmission in the UV wavelength region to allow greater power generation with blue light-sensitive photovoltaic devices. It has a short lamination cycle, excellent light transmission, and outstanding stability in the field.

Typical Applications

PHOTOCAP® 15585P is typically used in crystalline silicon modules where the cells are responsive below 360 nm. Due to the increase transmission of UV light, it is recommended that PHOTOCAP® 15580P be used behind the cells for backsheet protection.

Lamination Instructions
  • Platen temperature: 140 - 150°C
  • Evacuation Time: 180 - 300 seconds
  • Cure Time: 300 - 360 seconds
