It will adhere to a variety of substrates, such as plastics, ABS, EPDM, wires, carpets, wood, aluminum, PP, fiberboard, Lignotock, and Fibrit, and is great for bonding blocked textile into PP and ABS.

KALAR® 5265 is a partially cross-linked butyl rubber compound pelletized for easy handling. KALAR® products feature all the performance attributes expected of butyl rubber. KALAR® 5265 is amber in color and is a more tightly cross-linked butyl rubber than KALAR® 5215. It is designed as the starting point product for butyl sealants that require higher modulus and/or superior durability at elevated temperatures.
