It is an excellent water seal, vapor seal, and expansion joint material and is suggested as a joint sealant for metal jacketing systems.

Foster® 81-84NH Non-Halogenated Adhesive/Sealant is a two-component, high-strength thermosetting urethane adhesive that does not contain flammable solvents or halide-based components. This adhesive is specifically formulated for bonding various types of low-temperature insulation materials to each other as well as to metal and masonry substrates, including stainless steel.

Foster® Asbestos Removal Encapsulant 32-61™ is a water-based polymeric coating that offers an effective solution for dealing with various types of asbestos, including AMOSITE and CROCIDOLITE. This coating rapidly and thoroughly penetrates the asbestos-containing material (ACM), ensuring it becomes fully saturated. As it permeates the ACM, it adheres to individual fibers, locking them together and significantly reducing the likelihood of loose fibers becoming airborne during the removal process.

Foster® Fibrous Adhesive 81-27™ is an incombustible adhesive formulated with sodium silicate. It is primarily designed for bonding calcium silicate and expanded perlite thermal insulation to both itself and non-porous surfaces. This adhesive provides exceptional adhesion, and ideal working characteristics, and ultimately forms a hard, incombustible film with a brittle texture.

Foster® 83-13HM ZP Hot Melt Adhesive is a high-performance, pressure-sensitive hot melt adhesive (PSA) designed for specific applications in attaching facing materials to various types of thermal insulation in pipe covering and facing projects. Foster® Stic-Safe® Adhesive 85-15™ is a fast-setting synthetic elastomer adhesive tailored for affixing fibrous glass insulation (up to 6 lbs.) to sheet metal surfaces like galvanized steel or aluminum found in air-conditioning ducts, hot air ducts, and metal buildings. Foster® 85-15™ unique consistency facilitates quick and effortless brushing onto metal ducts and various other surfaces. Additionally, it serves as an effective adhesive for lap-sealing vapor barrier jackets.

Foster® Cryogenic Vapor Stop Sealant 90-66 is a two-part elastomeric sealant designed for cryogenic applications as a vapor stop sealant. It is suitable for use with various insulation materials such as polyurethane foam, polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam, cellular glass, fibrous glass, aerogel, and other rigid and flexible insulations. This sealant is compatible with aluminum, stainless steel, metals, wood, and masonry construction materials.

Childers® Chil-Joint® CP-70 Sealant is a cost-effective joint sealant designed for use in various insulation systems, including low-temperature, dual-temperature, and some high-temperature applications. This sealant is non-shrinking and non-drying, ensuring long-lasting performance. It is also available in caulking tubes for application with hand or power caulking guns.

Foster® S.M. Adhesive 81-10™ is a cost-effective and fast-setting synthetic elastomer adhesive designed for use with fibrous glass insulation, particularly suitable for insulation with a density of up to 3 lbs. per cubic foot. This adhesive is primarily used for bonding duct wrap and acoustical linings in air-handling ducts, offering an efficient and reliable solution for insulation applications.

Childers® AK-Cryl™ CP-9 Weather Barrier Coating is a polymeric, water-based, breather-type mastic designed for weather protection. It also offers defense against mechanical damage caused by external forces like impact and abrasion as well as internal forces such as thermal expansion, contraction, or vibration when used in conjunction with a reinforcing membrane. This product can additionally safeguard insulation from chemical attacks by acids, alkalis, and solvents. This coating is fire-resistant and UV-stable.

Childers® Chil-Lastic™ CP-79 Sealant and Coating is a versatile, high-temperature sealant and coating applied by trowel over various thermal insulations, except polystyrene. This asphalt-based coating creates a tough, durable, heavy film and can withstand elevated temperatures. Before putting hot lines, vessels, or tanks into operation, they should be cured at ambient temperature with proper ventilation to prevent the potential boiling out of the residual solvent.
