    Technical Details & Test Data

    Processing Information

    Processing

    • Apply adhesive evenly with a suitable application method on the two parts to be bonded.
    • After the recommended waiting time (flash-off time) put the parts accurately together and press.
    • The waiting time depends on the ambient temperature, thickness of the adhesive film and absorbency of the surfaces.
    • The surfaces to be bonded should be placed together when the adhesive film is still slightly sticky but does not stick to the finger when it is pressed lightly.
    • The parts have to be bonded together within the Contact bonding time.

    Preparation

The surfaces to be bonded must be dry, clean, free of grease and free of dust to ensure a reliable bonding. Storage & Handling

    Storage Information
    • Swift®col 2035 should be used within the shelf life specified on the packaging.
    • The storage stability applies to material stored under appropriate conditions only (original unopened containers, recommended storage temperature). High temperatures shorten the shelf life. Low temperatures temporary cause a higher viscosity.
