Applications & Uses

Cleaning Information
  • Clean tools immediately after use.
  • Appropriate cleaners are listed in the product properties table.

Preparation Information

Recommended surface preparation for optimal adhesion is as follows:

• PC, ABS: IPA wipe

• Nylon: Plasma treatment

Processing Information

1. Place adhesive film between substrates.

2. We recommend uniform pressure distribution for optimal bonding. Use the contour plot ("peel strength PC to Nylon" in the technical data section of this TDS) as a guide to determine the optimum bonding conditions for your process.

3. The glued materials can be further processed immediately after bonding and cooling down (handling, trimming, cutting, etc.).

Optional step: Flexelâ„¢ EM 9002N adhesive film may be pretacked to a substrate prior to processing. To pre-tack Flexelâ„¢ EM 9002N to a material, use the processing guide lines specified in the technical values section of this TDS.
