Childers® Chil-Lastic™ CP-79 Sealant and Coating is a versatile, high-temperature sealant and coating applied by trowel over various thermal insulations, except polystyrene. This asphalt-based coating creates a tough, durable, heavy film and can withstand elevated temperatures. Before putting hot lines, vessels, or tanks into operation, they should be cured at ambient temperature with proper ventilation to prevent the potential boiling out of the residual solvent.

Childers® Chil-Brate™ CP-25 is a water-based, fire-retardant, fibrated, asphalt-emulsion, weather barrier coating designed for applications over insulations on above-ground installations that operate under moderate to high-temperature conditions. This coating is "breathing," allowing vapors under pressure to pass through it. Once dry, the film becomes tough and durable, offering protection against atmospheric corrosives, chemical liquids, and fumes.
