Histoacryl® Clear (TS1050071-FP)

1 of 4 products in this brand

Histoacryl® Topical Skin Adhesive is a sterile, liquid, synthetic tissue adhesive made from n-butyl-2-cyanoacrylate. Histoacryl is a monomer and will stay in a liquid form until it comes in contact with a fluid (moisture/blood) that contains hydrogen ions, which it needs in order to harden or polymerize.
Histoacryl® is available in two colors: translucent, special for facial application, and blue, which enables an easy control over the quantity applied. Each are .5 ml plastic ampules.
The properties and advantages of Histoacryl® remain undisputed: there are no needle holes, the wound can be closed more quickly and there is no subsequent removal of sutures. Moreover, the tissue adhesive has a high mechanical strength and achieves excellent cosmetic results. Histoacryl also acts as a barrier to microbial penetration as long as the adhesive film remains intact.
Indicated for external use only. 10 plastic amplues per box.
