- Typical Applications
- This product has been developed for carton and folding box sealing and can be used for tray and case erection.
- Due to the fast build-up of cohesion (hot tack) it can withstand restoring forces of boards and runs well on medium to fast EOL machines.
- It is well suited for extremely difficult to bond substrates such as varnished surfaces or metalized laminates as well as on reinforced light weight cardboards with grease resistance or migration barriers.
- Suitable Substrates
Folding boxes, cartons and cases with very difficult to bond surfaces.
- Application Instructions
- Apply by nozzle; wheel-, disk-systems or Dauber finger system.
- Application temperature: 150°C – 180°C
- Open time: medium to short
- Setting time: fast
- This hot melt with new raw material base has stronger adhesion and a lower density than conventional hot melts based on EVA, which means an excellent bonding is reached at once with high mileage.
- Due to this composition and the lower density the adhesive is not mixable with conventional hot melts. If other adhesives have been used before, the adhesive equipment has to be thoroughly cleaned.
