Fuller EV Protect 4006 is a liquid-applied, two-component, flame-retardant, low-density polyurethane foam material designed for the potting and encapsulation of battery cells in EV battery modules. EV Protect 4006 SFR offers battery design engineers the ability to increase the power density of their modules while enhancing safety and protection from thermal propagation. The ultra lightweight nature of the EV Protect 4006 SFR minimizes the weight impact to the battery modules. The semi-structural properties of the material also provide noise, vibration, and harshness benefits to the battery system by unitizing the battery module and absorbing external environmental impacts.

H.B. Fuller EV Therm 441 is an excellent flame retardant with a UL94 V0 rating.

Swift®tak 48005 is a medium-viscosity laminating adhesive with excellent flow properties and fast wet tack, making it ideal for use with high-speed equipment. Swift®lock 2U155 is a polyurethane-based reactive hot melt adhesive that is characterized by its long open time. It offers extended open time while still providing fast green strength formation. Swift®lock 2020 is designed to set quickly and strengthen within 3-4 minutes. Fully moisture-cured material displays excellent high temperature strength, tested up to 120°C. Rapid shipment of bonded parts is possible as Swift®lock 2020 will not flow or expel at 120°C, preserving bonded geometry at high temperatures even while still uncured.
