KALAR® 5281 is a partially cross-linked butyl rubber compound pelletized for easy handling. This product is modified with ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer to improve lower temperature toughness and higher temperature processing. KALAR® products feature all the performance attributes expected of butyl rubber. KALAR® 5281 is light amber to yellow in color and is among the tightest cross-linked butyl rubbers of the KALAR® products. It is designed as the starting point for applications that require the maximum resistance to creep and slump.

KALAR® 5263 is a partially cross-linked butyl rubber compound pelletized for easy handling. KALAR® products feature all the performance attributes expected of butyl rubber. KALAR® 5263 is amber in color and is a more tightly cross-linked butyl rubber than KALAR® 5215. It is designed as the starting point product for butyl sealants that require higher modulus and/or superior durability at elevated temperatures.

KALAR® 5280 is amber in color and is among the tightest cross-linked butyl rubbers of the KALAR® products. It is designed as the starting point for applications that require the maximum resistance to creep and slump. KALAR® 5280 provides the most resistance to flow at high temperatures.

ISOLENE® 40-S is a low-molecular-weight liquid polymer derived from synthetic polyisoprene rubber. It offers the performance of natural rubber with the added benefit of a lighter color and none of the natural impurities inherent in natural rubber products. ISOLENE® 40-S is a lower viscosity liquid than the other ISOLENE® liquid rubber products. It is a translucent, honey-colored liquid in bulk form and virtually clear in a thin film.

KALAR® 5215 is off-white in color and is a moderately cross-linked butyl rubber, providing an excellent butyl intermediate base for general-purpose sealants and tapes.
