Applications & Uses

Preparation Information
  • The surfaces to be bonded must be dry, free of grease, free of dust and free of oil.
  • Adhesive must be stirred well before use.
Processing Information
  • Apply a thin and homogenous coat of Intrafolâ„¢ 1140/14 AMA UV on the plastic surface and dry the applied film. 
  • For new materials or applications, the suitability must be confirmed by preliminary tests.
  • Drying time - 20  to 40 seconds at 160°F, When applied to warm edge band, drying at room temperature may be sufficient.
  • Suitable Substrates - Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
  • Suitable Adhesives - Edge banding hot melts (e.g. EVA, APAO, reactive PUR)
  • Application Method - Roller coating
  • Allow the coated substrate to cool to room temperature before winding it up.
