CilbondĀ® 24E is a high-performance 1K adhesive suitable for a wide range of substrates including metals, plastics, natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), ethylene acrylic rubber (AEM), ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), and other elastomers and rubbers. This product features excellent resistance to salt spray, mineral oils, ethylene glycol, weak acids, and hot water. It also provides high fatigue resistance. The adhesive is available in liquid form and can be applied using various methods such as spray, brush, nozzle, dip coating, or roll coater.

It features a pigmented red color and is widely recognized as the industry benchmark for high-performance urethane bonding. Cilbond® 49SF has been developed to bond effectively with various materials, including metals, polyesters, polyamides, epoxies, and fiberglass reinforced plastics. It is highly recommended by leading urethane manufacturers and offers impressive in-service heat resistance of up to 265°F/130˚C (or up to 350°F/180˚C when used in combination with the Cilcure® B additive).
