Weatherproofing Membranes

Foster® C.I. Wrap™ 50 Membrane is a robust and flexible vapor retarder sheet membrane. It is constructed using synthetic, rubber-modified asphalt laminated to a durable polymer film, with a treated peel-and-stick release liner for ease of application. It is suitable for use over various types of thermal insulation materials, including cellular glass, polyurethane, polyisocyanurate, polystyrene, rigid fiberglass, and others, enhancing the insulation's performance and protection against moisture and vapor ingress.

Foster® MAST-A-FAB® WHITE Reinforcing Membrane 42-24 features a synthetic fiber composition that offers enhanced elongation, recovery, and resistance to stress breakage. This membrane's leno weave design ensures fabric stability, eliminating the typical thread movement and distortion found in plain weave cloths. Importantly, it has no discernible impact on the flame spread and smoke-developed ratings of the chosen mastic or coating.

Foster® Butylar™ NXT Vapor Barrier Jacketing is a self-sealing aluminum butyl membrane. It consists of a high-performance black butyl adhesive on a PET/AL/PET laminate film, providing minimal vapor permeance and protection against punctures and environmental damage. The black butyl adhesive is devoid of bitumen or asphalt compounds and incorporates built-in reinforcement for enhanced strength.

Foster® Vapor-Fas™ Vapor Barrier Jacketing 62-05 is a versatile vapor barrier jacketing material specially crafted for applications on commercial ductwork, piping, and equipment insulation. This material is constructed from a multi-layered film combining aluminum and polymer, featuring an adhesive with strong pressure sensitivity and a release liner.

It is constructed using synthetic rubber-modified asphalt laminated to a durable polymer film, featuring a treated peel-and-stick release liner for easy application. C.I. Wrap™ 30 offers the advantages of controlled film thickness, efficient and labor-saving application, elastomeric properties that accommodate insulation system expansion and contraction, self-healing capabilities, and a strong bond to both the substrate and sheet overlaps.
