MonoPlus is a violet long-term uncoated, absorbable synthetic monofilament suture. MonoPlus is ideal for all indications where an extended wound support of more than 4 weeks is desiable, due to its slow degradation profile. Sizes range from USP 7/0 to USP 2.
MonoPlus has several advantages, including: high knot tensile strength, very flexible, pliable and easy to knot, and smooth passage through tissue.
MonoPlus is indiacted for adult surgical closures where soft tissue wound support is more than 4 weeks.

Indication

MonoPlus® is indicated in cases where an extended soft tissue wound support for more than 4 weeks is desirable. MonoPlus® presents clinical evidence in general surgery. The patient population to be used MonoPlus® is adult who do not meet any contraindication there is not enough evidence in pediatric patients, pregnant or breastfeeding women. Intended user are healthcare professionals that are qualified and familiar with surgical techniques.
