    Preparation

    • The surfaces to be bonded must be dry, clean, free of grease, free of dust and free of oil to ensure a reliable bonding. Prepare and pre-treat upper and sole materials carefully.

    Processing

    • Coat both bonding surfaces of the pre-treated substrates using a suitable application method. For porous materials we suggest a second coat. After the recommended waiting time (flash-off time) put the parts accurately together and press. The waiting time depends on the ambient temperature, thickness of the adhesive film and absorbency of the surfaces. The parts have to be bonded together within the Contact bonding time. After exceeding the Contact bonding time, activate at least one side at the recommended temperature. Due to the different working conditions and substrates, we recommend preliminary tests for your planned application.
