Elvace® 736 is a vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer that forms durable, permanently flexible polymer films. It provides excellent adhesion to packaging film and foil, resists plasticizer migration effectively, and has quick bond development times. Ideal for low-VOC adhesives, particularly in microwave packaging, it offers enhanced hydrolysis resistance compared to polyvinyl acetate homopolymers, though it has limited borax tolerance.

Chemical Family: Vinyl Acetate Ethylene (VAE) Copolymer

Compatible Substrates & Surfaces: Film, Foils

Features: Excellent Adhesion, Good Hydrolysis Resistance, Good Toughness, High Viscosity, Improves Adhesion, Low VOC, Plasticizer Migration Resistance, Poor Borax Tolerance
