Dafilon® is a non-absorbable synthetic monofilament suture made of polyamide polymers 6/6.6. It is available in either dyed blue or undyed for Dafilon blue and Dafilon undyed, respectively, and dyed black for Dafilon black. Dafilon blue and Dafilon undyed are indicated for the closure of superficial wounds and plastic surgery applications. Dafilon black is specifically used for microsurgical and ophthalmic purposes.
