Overmolding
After complete drying (refer to the flash-off time in the technical data table), the substrate can be overmolded immediately with the thermoplastic elastomer. Thermal activation of the primed substrate to the activation temperature (surface temperature) is advantageous. The time window between adhesion promoter application and overmolding depends on process and environmental conditions as well as the thermoplastic elastomer used and must therefore be carefully determined. Any surface contamination must be strictly avoided during the entire process. Suitability tests are recommended for new materials or material changes.Cleaning
Tools should be cleaned immediately after use. Once the product has cured, it can only be removed mechanically.
