Q-Setâ„¢ 250-750

1 of 1 products in this brand
Q-Setâ„¢ 250-750 represents a two-part polyurethane composite backfill renowned for its waterproof properties. This innovative solution efficiently expands to occupy the peripheral void surrounding a satellite dish post within the hole. By creating a robust composite material, it provides substantial structural support to the post, ensuring its stability and upright positioning are maintained. This advanced polyurethane formulation not only offers water resistance but also contributes to the overall durability and longevity of satellite installations, making it a reliable choice for backfill applications.

Applications & Uses

After Use Clean Up
  • Using a soft cloth and mineral spirits, carefully remove any Q-Set™ 250-750 smudges from surfaces of the post that are visible (above ground) as well as from tools before Q-Set™ 250-750 dries.
  • After Q-Set™ 250-750 dries, it can only be removed by carefully cutting it with sharp knife. Be careful as this may damage the post surface.
  • Should some of the Q-Set™ 250-750 gets on your skin, wipe away, then wash the area immediately while product is still wet.
  • Should the product cure on your skin, apply liberal amounts of hand lotion to the area, multiple times a day, and it will peel away after 2-3 days.
  • If Q-Set™ 250-750 gets into your hair or beard, coat the area thoroughly with conditioner and leave it for 10 minutes then comb and wash the product out.

Features & Benefits

Product Highlights
  • Q-Set™ 250-750 significantly reduces labor requirements as no additional backfilling as required.
  • Eliminates the time spent forming, pouring, and curing reinforced concrete.
  • Displays excellent adhesion to steel and galvanized steel posts
  • Q-Set™ 250-750 is an electrical insulator and its bond around a steel post reduces the risk of premature corrosion that occurs because of stray DC current in the earth.
  • Q-Set™ 250-750 is hydrophobic (insensitive to water), the physical properties of the composite liquid, expanding and cured, will not be affected by wet soil or residual amounts of standing water in the hole. Standing water should not be more than 2” at the bottom of the hole.
  • It expands immediately after mixing reaches 50% of full strength in approximately 3 minutes and is fully cured in approximately 2 hours.
  • Satellite dish and/or other attachments can be affixed to the post within 15 minutes. Q-Set™ 250-750 significantly reduces labor requirements as no additional backfilling is required.
