Applications & Uses
- Guidelines for Use
-
Preparation:(500ml)
- Use in a well Ventilated Area.
- Surfaces to be bonded should be clean, dry and dust free. If cleaning solvents are used, allow adequate time for drying and wipe surface with a clean cloth before applying adhesive.
- Shake aerosol before use.
Application:
- Hold the aerosol at 70° to the surface, approximately 4-6 inches away and apply a uniform coat of adhesive to both substrates. Move at a steady pace that provides an even coat of adhesive without allowing any material to puddle. Spray one surface vertically the other horizontally. On porous materials, a second coat of adhesive may be necessary.
- Allow the solvents to evaporate from the adhesive (1-2 minutes depending on ambient temperature). To know when the adhesive is ready to bond, it should not transfer to a gloved hand when touched and should feel dry. Bonding the substrates before the solvents have been allowed to evaporate can cause solvent entrapment resulting in bond failures.
- Bring the two substrates together in the exact position and apply a uniform pressure to the entire area.
- Full cure will take 24 hours.
- After use, invert the can and spray to clear any adhesive from the valve/button.
